Ms. Aliniece has been heavily involved in community service since 1992. Her personal credo, “Find something you love doing and you’ll never have to work another day.”
Over the years, Ms. Aliniece has vigorously advocated for programs and resources that enhance the lives of patients suffering with leukemia. She has also developed initiatives that support youth development and promote emotional sustainability for families.
In February, 2009, she founded Laughing at Leukemia, Inc., (L@L) a non-profit, 501(c) 3 tax exempt organization located in downtown Atlanta. Currently, as Founder, President, and CEO of Laughing At Leukemia, Inc., she oversees programs that alleviate the burden families endure while caring for children suffering from Leukemia. L@L’s mission is to disassociate homelessness and bankruptcy from all families of children diagnosed with cancer. The organization also raises funds for custom designed, virgin hair units for girl’s ages seven (7) to 17 years who have lost their hair as a result of chemotherapy.
