i Complaints received are the number of complaints received during the quarter. Complaints may include a single allegation or multiple allegations.
ii Location of complaints received represents the geographical areas from where police interaction occurred in the city. This data only includes where an address was obtained. Periodically, areas may receive the same number of complaints. It should be noted that some areas may experience more complaints due to increases in the number of public events in the area.
iii Complaint determinations represents the number of completed complaint investigations that came before the Board during the quarter.
iv This represents the percentage of allegations that the Board sustained during the quarter.
v This represents the percentage of sustained allegations that the APD agreed with the Board’s sustained finding. The percentage is based on when the ACRB received the letter of notification from the APD. This percentage does not correlate with the Board’s Sustained Allegations percentage.
vi All letters received indicated the investigations are pending.
