ACRB Investigations Manager, Brian Fleming, Receives Equity Ambassador Certificate

It has been quite a distinguished career year for our staff member Brian Fleming. An ACRB Investigator Senior for some nine years, he was elevated to Investigations Manager after his supervisor Sheena Robertson was promoted to Deputy Director. “This promotion is a testament to his hard work, dedication and outstanding contributions to the Investigations Unit and the agency,” said Mrs. Robertson. “I am confident that he will excel in his new role. Brian joined the agency over 9 years ago and has consistently demonstrated his commitment to the agency’s values and mission.”

Additionally, this week, Brian received his certificate from the Mayor’s Office of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) as part of the first graduating class of 111 equity ambassadors from 19 city agencies. He and the others spent many hours in training. Addressing and congratulating the graduates via video inside Atlanta City Council Chambers, Mayor Dickens noted, “The certification included shared language and understanding of identity, and core equity and diversity concepts. Our employees are now better equipped to advance these principles in their daily work and will support and collaborate with colleagues on EDI questions, concerns, and opportunities…Let us all take a moment to congratulate our equity ambassadors. Together we are building a city that values diversity and inclusion, ensuring equitable opportunities and outcome for all its residents.” ACRB congratulates Brian for his hard work and well-deserved honors.
