Anganetta Estes was nominated to serve on the Atlanta Citizen Review Board (ACRB) by the Georgia Coalition People’s Agenda. She received City Council confirmation on June 18, 2025, to serve for a term of three (3) years.
Anganetta Gordon-Estes is a dedicated public servant with over two decades of experience in public safety and human resources. Her career spans 22 years with the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office, where she served as a Detention Technician, handling inmate records, legal documentation, and maintaining security protocols with precision and professionalism. She later transitioned into human resources, serving as a Human Resources Coordinator at Chime Solutions, where she improved onboarding practices and enhanced employee relations.
With a strong background in legal processing, records management, and community safety, Estes brings a grounded and compassionate perspective to public oversight. Her commitment to fairness, transparency, and restorative practices makes her an asset to the ACRB. A proud alumna of Clark Atlanta University and the University of Central Arkansas, Estes continues to advocate for justice and community well-being across Atlanta.
