Atlanta Citizen Review Board’s New Public Complaint Portal

The Atlanta Citizen Review Board (ACRB) is always listening to the public and wants to make your access to our services easier. The new public portal will serve as a self-service resource for the public to engage with the agency to file complaints and receive status updates of their filed complaints at their convenience. The portal is designed to be a convenient, user-friendly process and increase our customer service efforts. The portal provides instant access to information about your complaint without the need to speak with an investigator.

For the Citizen…  the public portal can be accessed from your cell phone, tablets, and computers. The public portal will allow the public to upload video/audio/images. It also allows the public to choose to be anonymous and include all important information related to the police interaction.

Once you file a complaint with the agency, you will receive a link and Reference ID number to follow up on your complaint and receive status updates. When you file your complaint, you will have the option to receive updates via text or email as the complaint moves though the ACRB process. You can also save draft complaints as you gather more information about the incident. Please save the Reference ID number to follow up on saved drafts and to check on the status your complaint.

For the Agency…  the public portal will allow us to increase our productivity and manage with greater efficiency and transparency. The portal also uses the latest encrypted security measures to ensure your privacy and agency security of information.

The ACRB Public Portal for filing complaints will go live Tuesday, October 11, 2022.
