Dean Veenstra

Dean Veenstra hails from Jacksonville, Florida. He moved to Atlanta, Georgia in 1987 to attend Georgia State University where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Affairs and Urban Planning. In 1993, Veenstra started his own legal research business where he provided litigation support and worked for many of the major corporate law firms in Atlanta as a subcontractor. During that time, he attended Emory University and received his certification in legal studies in 2008. In 2010, he became an investigator for the State Bar of Georgia with the Office of the General Counsel where he investigated complaints against attorneys. In 2013, he attended the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center and received his certification in criminal investigation. In 2014, he was elected as the National Director for the Organization of Bar Investigators. Veenstra served in that position until 2016. He was with the State Bar of Georgia for over 12 years. He joined the ACRB as a Senior Investigator on February 29, 2024. Dean has been married to his lovely wife, Charlene, for 25 years.
