Samuel Lee Reid, II | Executive Director

Samuel Lee Reid II is a native of Charlotte, NC. Prior to joining the ACRB, he held the position of Assistant Director of the Minneapolis Department of Civil Rights, with primary responsibility for the Minneapolis Civilian Police Review Authority.

Charles Curry | Outreach Specialist

Charles Curry, ACRB Community Outreach Specialist, is a professional writer, Interviewer, direct marketer, former New York City TV reporter/radio anchor, Madison Avenue public relations specialist and project manager for a grant-funded agency of US Homeland Security. He helped to found a number of community organizations with fellow residents and merchants in Atlanta’s Ben Hill Community.  Curry earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Mass Media Arts from Hampton University.

Brian Fleming

Brian Fleming | Senior Investigator

Brian Fleming joined the Atlanta Citizen Review Board (ACRB) in January 2015. As an investigator, Brian is responsible for conducting thorough and objective investigations of misconduct accusations made against the police and corrections departments in the City of Atlanta. Prior to joining ACRB, Brian was an investigator for six years with the City of Chicago’s Independent Police Review Authority (IPRA) where he investigated police-involved shootings and allegations of misconduct against Chicago police officers.

Robin Lolar

Robin Lolar | Senior Investigator

Robin M. Lolar is a native of Toledo, Ohio. Prior to joining ACRB, Ms. Lolar held the position of Investigator with the Minneapolis Civil Rights Department Office of Police Conduct Review (OPCR), formerly the Minneapolis Civilian Review Authority (CRA).

Sheena Robertson | Investigation Manager

Sheena Robertson was born and raised in New York City. She earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the City University of New York at Queens College and a Juris Doctorate Degree from Hofstra University School of Law.

Myola Smith | Project Manager

Myola Smith has worked for three different Mayors. While serving in the Franklin administration as the Mayor’s Scheduling Coordinator, she was also asked by the administration to serve as the liaison between the Atlanta Citizen Review Board and various city departments. On behalf of the Board, she coordinated the hiring of the first Executive Director and located office space to house the agency. Smith left the Mayor’s Office in 2008 to work full time for the ACRB.

Melisa Reese | Administrative Assistant

Melisa Reese joined the Atlanta Citizen Review Board (ACRB) staff on May 5, 2016.  She serves as the agency's Administrative Assistant.  Prior to joining the ACRB, Ms. Reese worked for the Georgia Department of Labor in the Appeals Tribunal Unit for 16 years where she served as the liaison between the Administrative Hearing Officers and the State of Georgia citizens.   An Atlanta native, she earned a Career Diploma in Accounting from Atlanta Technical College in 2005, and is currently working towards receiving an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Marketing Management.
